Measuring Your Doggie


Please ensure that you measure your dog correctly using the guidelines below. We are happy to provide any assistance should you have any enquiries. It is important to measure your pet correctly :-)

Pet Clothing:

Most pet clothing is measured by the animal's body length (occassionally referred to as top-line).
The body length is the length of your pet's back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. 
If your pet has a stout build, a deep chest or is overweight, we recommend going up a minimum of one size for a proper fit.

Collars:

When measuring your doggie for a collar, please make sure you take the circumference of the neck where the collar will sit.

Dear Dog Harness:

When you purchase a dear dog harness, please bear in mind that the soft harness does need to be slipped over your dogs head, therefore neck measurement is just as important as the girth

We thought it would be helpful to provide a guideline as to the breeds the following sizes are suitable for:

Small: Chihuhua 
Medium: Yorkshire Terrier 
Large: Jack Russell, Westie 
Xlarge: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Pug, 
XXlarge: Cocker Spaniel
